🍫 Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

1¾ cups all-purpose flour

¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1½ tsp baking powder

1½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

2 cups sugar

2 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

½ cup vegetable oil

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup boiling water

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.

Add wet ingredients (except water): Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry mixture. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.

Add boiling water: Stir in the boiling water carefully (the batter will be thin — that’s okay).

Bake: Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool: Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.

Frost and serve: Top with chocolate frosting or ganache. Enjoy your rich, moist chocolate cake!
